Fraser River Fishing Report
Fraser River Fishing Report for Octocber 2, 2009.
Sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River has been excellent; we are catching 15 to 25 Sturgeons per day and ranging from 4 to 9 feet. Most of the fish that we are hooking are bigger rather than smaller. The water levels are prefect now, which makes fishing for White Sturgeon very easy. The bait that we recommend is roe, dew worms, and salmon parts.
Fraser River Salmon Fishing has been excellent. We have been hooking lots of Chum salmon, ranging from 10 to 20 a day(limit is 2 per day). Purple and Pink jigs is the ticket to get fresh clean Chum. Spring Salmon fishing is very good in the Harrison and the Vedder River, using roe first thing in the morning was the key to catching these monster salmon. There is still tons of fresh pinks in the Vedder River, use pink jigs and roe.
